skeletorso This is one of those albums that stuck with me in odd ways, and after getting The arms stuck in my head for the hundreth time I decided I needed to own it.

This is really extraordinary. The atmosphere somehow perfectly captures this aspect of ambiguity to The King in Yellow, not swinging directly into any one mainstream interpretation. Favorite track: I Can See The Arms.

J.M.M. How could I resist an EP full of songs about Robert W. Chamber's most famous work? Very different from what I was expecting, getting more of an accoustic affair then a nightmarish ambient landscape that usually goes with Weird Tales works. There's also some Chameleons UK in there as well, which is always good to see. Favorite track: I Can See The Arms.

My personal favorite of the Lovecraft series. This piece feels so calm, eerie, and mysterious. The slight plucking of strings is off set by the ritual drums and consistent reverb. Amazing combination! theeverwanderer

Yog-Sothoth. The thought of something lurking beyond time and space, seeing and knowing everything and all in existence at any given time, is deeply unsettling and yet fascinating. This outermost, outerworldly feeling is being transported in a good way. Part 1 is good, but Part 2 indeed sounds like I would imagine The Lurker at the Threshold to feel, if he felt anything. An outerworldly, cosmic and desolate piece of dark ambient. David Fischer
